Although my results were not quite as dramatic for the T.
Nakayama forms of A. ringens, I did have near 100% germination as well. The
tubers well very large, and the leaf size matching that of your seedlings.
Tuber size may reached the 2cm. you mention, if I had allowed the seedlings
to go dormant naturally. I had to harvest the first "year" growth a little
early.
I will definitely try your "turface technique with at least a
portion of the seed received for the upcoming Seedx
