In a recent posting on Aroid-L, Judy Bauer mentioned
Arisaema ringens 'Puto'. To my knowledge, there is no such plant.
The explanation ia appended.

With a post from Judy Bauer recently came questions regarding the name,
Arisaema ringens 'Puto.' It was explained to me from the nursery from
which the plant was acquired that their label "Arisaema ringens, Puto
Jack-in-the Pulpit" was to identify this plant as being from the province
of Puto, Japan, where it was collected in a native Camellia forest. So
the
single quotes around the name Puto are somewhat misleading -- the plant
is
Arisaema ringens, from a collection made in Puto.
