Speaking as a nursery owner (who also offers arisaemas and arums, BTW), I
see absolutely no problem with asking a nursery whether (and if so where,
and under what circumstances) their stock was wild-collected. Asking who
their particular suppliers are, in general, might raise some hackles, as
business owners are naturally somewhat protective of their sources; but my
own feeling would be that if it's important to you, go ahead and ask; you
may or may not get an answer, and you may or may not feel like doing
business after that.
