Hi Arisaema-Lrs

The easyest way of keeping tubers in the frige is to take them out of =
ground, clean them carefuly and let them dry on the surfice a few days at ==
roomtemp.Put them in a zip-lock bag and store in the frige. The plastic =
is watertight but not airtight. The tub it self tells everyone that there ==
must be quite dry conditions in nature sometimes, else it would not have =
this protecting skin against loss of moisture. If you are afraid of =
fungus, powder the tub with charcoal. But the less moisture in the bag the ==
less risk of beeing affected. The natures way of doing things has always =
been best.
Thank you Darcy for your coment of an expert even if I myself not will =
have enough time to be one.

Good luck,

Karl-Otto Zita
