Subject: John Wurdack

Jim brought us the sad news of John's passing on.  I must agree with
Jim's comment, "We all owe him a vote of thanks, and those of us who knew
him will miss him greatly."  John was a major contributor to our
knowledge of Arisaema, and although I never met him, his correspondence
shows he was a real gentleman as well as a knowledgable horticulturist.
