I have communicated with a couple of others that this is probably not
elephas as that species usually takes two years before leaves appear. It
reinforces the fact that we must always keep source details with proposed
name so that once plants bloom they can be correctly named and everyone
notified.

With many of these collections I brought tubers back to Australia. They
have now come out of cold storage and will hopefully start moving - and
flowering - soon.
