Rust, in other species?

Yes Lois, thanks for sending the information on the rust.   Jim presented a
very interesting question, and we should all watch our collections with a
critical eye.  Jim I hope all of the answers you get are negative to rust on
others.

I had rust show up on A. triphyllum, plants I saved from a construction site
last year.  They were planted about 25 feet from A. ringens and A. sikokianum,
and other previously planted triphyllums.  I removed them as soon as I saw it,
learning from this group that the infected plants should be destroyed.  The
rust never showed up on the other two species or the established triphyllums,
but then again the rust never had a chance to set spores.
