I routinely soak fleshy seed like arum, cyclamen, arisaema,
alstroemeria, etc. in dilute seaweed extract and water, for 24 hrs
before sowing, with great results. I think I may have mentioned this
here before, but if anyone wants to know more about the process, write
me personally. If enough folks do, I will post a copy of methodology and
sources for seaweed, for all to read.
