I cannot help but wonder of how much use such maps are....the USDA zones
seem to be a pretty accurate guide to what trees you can grow, but as
they do not take into consideration the effects of snow cover, I have som=e
reservations against using them as a guide to which "non-woody" plants
can be grown where - my experience has been that "average summer temperat=ure"
is much better in that case...
