When tubers come out of the fridge they can vary tremendously as to when they
start a new growth cycle.
Sometimes they've already started with small sprouts and appear in less than
a week. Sometimes thet refuse to be "fooled" by the "artificial winter" and
sit there until some innate time clock tells them that it's really spring!
I'd say that the average is 6-8 weeks for me. The main problem is to walk the
narrow line re moisture. Keep them on the dry side until they come up, and
then increase the water. But even after coming up, they can still be injured
by soggy conditions.
