Dear AEG;
I asked for Top 10 lists of hardy Arisaema and got three responses.
Hopefully we can add to this collective wisdom in the next season of email
coordination.

So in summary, the following {Lucky 13} Arisaema sp. seem to be
hardy enough to be grown in the ground (with special consideration for
planting depth and drainage and other aspects of micro-climate) in Zones
5/6:

amurense
candidissimum
consanguineum
dracontium
flavum
franchetianum
heterophyllum
jacquemontii
nepenthoides
ringens
sikokianum
thunbergii
triphyllum

With thanks to comments from Roy Herold, Mike Slater and Simon
Wills (but he's hardly cold enough to 'count').

To extend this concept, I've grown the following Arum species
mostly successfully outdoors in KC (Zone 5/6)

A. dioscoroides
A. elongatum
A. italicum pictum/marmoratum (nearly weedy)
A. maculatum
A. nigrum
A, rupicola as (A. conophalloides)

Anyone care to 'top' or add to therse lists in Zone 5/6? Please!

Best Jim W.
