seedling leaves

I have several pots of tortuosum which have sprouted with the same tripartite
leaves as sikokianum. With so many different species with seedling leaves at the same
time, the differences are often obvious. I'll have to take pictures since my drawing
abilities are nil.
Consanguineum (sm#2) from Roy is sprouting and one of the seeds has 2 single
stalks poking up (leaves unfurled yet) and I think a third is coming from the same seed.
Consanguineum (AIC070) from Tony Avent is sprouted--all single leaves except 1 which
has a 'wing' off each side at the base. Franchetianum (such big, thick leaves) has 2
seeds which are sending up a second stalk. The original leaf of the 5 seeds (one of
mine had a dessicated sprout but decided to live) are variable in shape, due to the fact
that they were already sprouted?
I will take pictures of the multiples and send them to you, Guy, when the roll
of film is full.
According to my notes, the speciosum seeds which came from Eric Walton last fall
had a 'tail' on each side of the single leaf. I guess I need to study some botanical
terms! The 3 tubers are dormant and in the refrigerator right now.
