Off-topic, but irresistible

Forgive me, but I was so taken with the following practical advice
from _Nursery Management and Production_ (NMPro) 13:3 (March 1997),
p.40, dealing with that well-known horticulturist's affliction so
candidly labelled "deep cracks", that I just had to share it:
"Avoid the mistake of relying on adhesive bandages to heal deep cracks.
When bandages come off, accumulated skin moisture immediately evaporates,
worsening your problem as cracks become even deeper.
As an alternative to bandages, try a product like Crazy Glue. Pinch
the skin crack closed and apply the glue to the crack surface. Gluing
may need to be repeated in a couple of days, but it speeds healing,
reduces the chances of infection and helps you keep going with your
nursery work."
I'm surprised that they forgot to tell you that you must first clean out
your deep cracks. Old toothbrushes and nailbrushes work well in this
regard. Work fast and do not look down.
I promise NEVER to do this again - but I know that now we'll all want to keep
our Crazy Glue right there with the duct tape and the Turface.
