Greetings from 'Downunder',

I thought I would give you an autumn perspective when all the talk is
of spring.
Of my recent batch of AEG seeds, germinating well are:
Arisaema consang., A.tortuosum, A.taiwanense and A.flavum.
No sign of movement with A.elephas though Roy.

In the shadehouse my plants of A.candidissimum are still in big leaf
and multiplying well ( oh the joys of a temperate climate ) and
A.amurense are just starting to shoot in their pots. A.flavum and
triphyllum have just gone dormant after coping well with our second
hottest summer on record ( days of 40 degrees C ) and one A.ringens
has poked its head out but decided it is not cold enough.
Maybe I should put all my plants in the fridge so they experience
some real cold (our winter days are about 6 - 15 deg.C).

I better go and do some watering as El Nino has made sure we haven't
had a decent rain since early November (oh the joys of a temperate
climate ).

Cheers from sunny, mild autumnal Melbourne with no snow anywhere,
ever.
Rob.
