Dear Ellen -
Talk about way off topic, but yes I've grown Musa basjoo for about
ten years outdoors in the ground winter and summer in Kansas City. This is
the northernmost (maybe) species of Musa and of course dies to the ground
(a corm officially) and puts up new shoots as spring warms. I have a grove
of a dozen "pseudo-trees" ten feet tall by fall.

So what about my "On-Topic" request for ten hardiest Arisaemas.

Best Jim W.
