Ray,

Many thanks for writing, here is a message I tried to send to Arisaema-l
the other day (my eMail address has changed this spring - together with
Compuserve's software) :

Many apologies to all who are still waiting for seeds and/or tubers.

Much of the delay is due to our move from Somerset UK to Minervois France
(the local Arum italicum are just coming into flower). I no longer work
in
B & T's offices, but am working in our gardens here in Paguignan - I have
always wanted to work full time with plants rather than bits of paper !

I placed the orders for seeds and tubers in early December, before we had
purchased our new premises, and passed the paperwork on to the office
staff
ready to fill and mail.

Several thousand seeds from my orders appear to have been sent to other
customers. I will fax our collectors for species that are not already
reordered, chase up the tubers, and shall personally send out the species
that are in stock.

If anyone wishes to cancel their order please could this be done ASAP.

The gardens here have been unused for between 5 and 25 years - some deep
well rotted leaf-mold some almost bare clay - and are set out in a series
of irregular terraces over the hillsides, access is by chemines des
service
(like small walled footpaths) which are also the main irrigation
channels.
I have a polytunnel set up in one of our barns to look after the tropical
plants until a permanent structure can be built.

Best wishes to all,
Matt Sleigh
