Forcing Arisaema

The earliest published reference to forcing Arisaema in the frig that
I've found is:

Keuppers, C. 1993. Growing Arisaemas in the USA. SHPA Newsletter #7,
August 1993.

That's only 4 years ago, but presumably Carol was doing it earlier then
that. Perhaps she can tell us if she's noticed any detrimental effects. I
can't find an E-mail address for her on the web.
