>From your description, your specimen looks like A. intermedium indeed. In
Sikkim e.g., A. intermedium and A. griffithii grow side by side. Moreover,
their tubers also look alike. You'll find a good color photo of A.
intermedium in Polunin & Stainton's book on the flora of Himalaya.
