Spring 1997 Seed Distribution

Sorry about that. I couldn't wait any longer because some seed is already
germinating.
So, domestic mailers went out yesterday and international mailers will go
tomorrow.

There are 7152 seed, 721 packets, and 65 mailers in this distribution.
Seed was contributed by 9 people and the cost was $107.51/(65) = 1.65 per
member.

Many of you voluntarily sent more than enough funds to cover last Fall's
distribution which offset some of this cost and I thank you.

Those of you who received seed directly from the China expedition members
will have slim pickins since I didn't duplicate what you already have.

Craig, I appreciate your kind offer to help do the distribution, but I
just couldn't find a way that wouldn't be as much work yet more costly.

We'll have to wait until later for the seed from down-under. I just
couldn't hold these any longer.
