Self-seeding - A. flavum - D. Whitehead

The only Arisaema that has produced seed for me is A. flavum, and it did
so on its first flowering, when I had only one plant.  Seedlings grew
from this seed, and I now have a small colony.  Perhaps this species
doesn't follow the family pattern of changing sex depending on maturity
and environmental conditions.
