Rust on A. triphyllum - J. McClements & J. Rugh

In a recent discusion with Morris West, who gardens in central Pa., he
mentioned that he had lost most of his Arisaemas to rust. He is under the
impression that in addition to the native A. triphyllums the local
blackberry
bushes are a source of infection.

It might be interesting to see if any others with this problem are
surrounded
by wild berries.

I am not. And I have loads of rust. According to the studies on arisaema
rust
there is no alternate host.
