Rand,
Last winter we had four weeks of continuous frost, up to - 15=B0C (that's wh=y
Camellias were unharmed, the hardiest can suffer -18=B0C). The ponds, in the
garden were frozen to a depth of 35 cm. Well Belgium is not so cold as
Canada; most of our problems occur in spring, when cold spells succeed to
mild ones before a stationary state is reached.
