China again

Hi all,
The Chinese plants that I mentioned a few weeks ago have all been perused
and I have updtaed what I think of as the AEG page at
(http://rareplants.co.uk/aeg/index.htm). I have added names after expert
suggestions. Now it just reamins to be seen what appears in October.
There was a lot of "Tamang" talk earlier in the year, and things are now
flowering from my last year's experimental imports. Without wishing to
insult or talk down a very good source, it is fair to say that much of the
material is wrongly named and most of what is wrongly named has turned out
to be A.intermedium. This is ambiguous no matter how I try to phrase it,
what I mean is that A.griffithii is intermedium, A. utile is largely
intermedium, A.jacquemontii is all intermedium.
Not to worry I like intermedium, the A.ostiolatum were, in fairness, almost
all true but had some surprises, a very nice jacquemontii opend a few days
ago in them, and a curious little beast that is like nothing I have ever
seen from the Himalayas. I have photgraphed it and posted the gif at the
above URL for anyone to peruse.
