lost corms

Well, I didn't get the sikokianums looked at tonight but I have been
thinking.
Why would some corms go dormant so very quickly? Could it have been the
change from warm indoor conditions with moderate light to cool, wet
outdoor conditions with lots of light (oak trees hadn't yet leafed out
in May)?

I'd really like this past spring to be a learning experience but as yet
I don't feel that there was enough of a pattern from which to learn. I
would say though, don't treat all the corms the same way (something
about putting all your eggs in one basket). Don't plant all of the
Arisaemas outside at the same time. Don't put them all in the same bed.
etc.

I am recovering. And it has made the Arisaemas I have left all the more
precious.
