It would take too much space to do it justice. Best order Dr. Deno's book
which will be useful
even if you don't use his method. It delineates germination criteria for
over 5000 species.

description of
one adaptation of it, buzz AEG member Donna Maroni
<dmaroni at email.unc.edu> and
ask her to send a copy of her article in "The Trillium" 8:1 11-14,
Jan-Feb 1998. Perhaps she has
it in file form and can attach it to an E-mail.

I don't use Donna's more complicated steps using agar, nor do I use petri
dishes. I just use
small poly baggies as Deno prescribed.
