Seed ripeness

Arums aren't Arisaemas, but they're both aroids, no? Anyway, I
collected bright green arum seeds and stuck them inside a ziploc bag
and crossed my fingers. Many weeks later they ripened into a nice
bright orange color as soon as the arums in the garden turned color
themselves. Have only recently sown them so I don't know if they're
viable, but they sure acted like they were. Hope this helps.
